Large fragrance house Pecksniffs engaged Logic Design to create a new feel for their Fitzherbert & Prince range. Based on a Georgian romance, they felt the packaging needed to be updated as it didn’t capture the period or the story in the right way.
Logic Design presented Pecksniffs with a range of mood boards displaying various styles that captured elements/events form the 18th Century, relating them back to the love story. We eventually went down the route of using a hot air balloon in the designs (the first flight being in 1783) due to their strong link with architecture at the time as well as the romantic connotations of how we perceive them today. Choosing a range of colours to suit the fragrances we also incorporated some traditional yet elegant fonts to really bring the package to life, enabling it to outshine its competitors on the shelf.
