Ensuring your website design is up to scratch is paramount in our modern, digital age.
Maintaining your web presence and ensuring it’s performing to the best of it’s ability will keep you at the top of your game.
We encourage our clients to keep their websites fresh, up to date and continually monitor it’s performance to make sure they get the most out their sparkly new website. It is common, however, that websites become unused and stagnant, never knowing that with small updates it could be performing better and be capable of going the distance – if only it could be taken off the shelf once in a while, dusted down, given a spruce up and sat proudly, front and centre, ready for prospective customers to interact with.
Let’s give you a working example. As some of you may have noticed, we launched our brand new site at the end of 2016 after perfecting the design and user experience – it was a long time coming to say the least, as fitting our own work into the schedule is not easy, but we got there in the end! We were confident that we had everything right and that it would easily outperform the previous iteration of our website.
Analytics & heat maps
A shot while after the launch (to allow for traffic data to accumulate), we reviewed many forms of analytics, heat maps and on-page analysis to assess how users are interacting with our new website with the aim of looking for areas to improve upon.
Subsequently, we have revisited the design of the website several times to redesign certain features, add new ones and make tiny little tweaks to improve its performance and conversion – and it’s only been live less than a month!
The point is, user behaviours, browsing habits, attentions spans and all other variables that effect the way a person will look at your website, not to mention age, gender and browsing device thrown into the mix, are so vast that there is no one answer to capturing them and ensuring they convert to customers. At Logic Design we pride ourselves on understanding your audience demographic and ensuring that the design of your website, it’s call to actions and interactivity will grab a hold of those users and never let go – like some kind of digital sleeper hold!
We live, eat, sleep and breath all things digital, so if you feel your website could do more for your business but aren’t sure where to start, why not speak to our vastly experienced team and let us dust off that website and give it a new lease of life!
