The multi award-winning Great House is centrally located within the beautiful medieval village of Lavenham.
Synonymous with excellence for both its food and hotel, it frequently features as one of the top food establishments in the UK with visitors travelling across the world for its cuisine. The restaurant approached Logic Design to develop its new website design in line with its remarkable history and ambiance due to it not being captured within their online presence.
We set about planning and structuring the new website based on historical data and realised users struggle to navigate the previous version due to its poor sitemap and UX. Our team created a fresh approach with image driven visuals that intermixed with structured content and improved user journeys. Stronger Call to Action triggers were implemented to make booking easier for clients whilst awards and reviews were carefully placed throughout the content. With a WordPress CMS powering the website, the restaurants in house marketing team can adjust content from opening times to menus whenever needed.
