Results

Following the successful transition from a physical store to a fully functional online shop, the client saw a dramatic uplift in performance. Daily clicks surged by 4,685%, demonstrating the effectiveness of the new site and targeted SEO strategy in driving qualified traffic.

The new domain also gained 21 points in domain authority, significantly boosting its credibility. With a streamlined purchase journey and custom-built “made to measure” tool, the site achieved an impressive 5.79% purchase rate, resulting in 861 items sold. These outcomes position the client firmly on the path to becoming the UK’s top net curtain supplier.

Transforming a Physical Store Into an Online Shop

Originally a brick-and-mortar shop, the client decided to move their physical store to an online shop and rebrand. We designed their new site with this new branding in mind and created an engaging, cohesive and easy to navigate eCommerce website.

With a wide product range, we used WooCommerce to deliver all the required functionality and showcase their categories for easy browsing. Clear signposting to help guide customers, imagery and icons to engage users, and content areas to push Net Curtains’ message and brand voice, it was a seamless and successful transition.

Simplified Checkout for Easy Ordering

In addition to the newly designed website, we helped improve the checkout process with a bespoke “made to measure” calculator for certain product types. In-line with the new branding and designed with user experience in mind, it makes complicated products simple and easy to purchase.

Before ordering, we’ve given customers the choice to select curtain drops, heading types, gather measurements and other additional options to provide the perfect net curtains for their space. This intuitive calculator simplifies the ordering process and keeps customers engaged, increasing conversions and encouraging brand loyalty for repeat orders.

Organic SEO Campaign

The aim for the SEO strategy was to gain rankings, and therefore clicks and impressions, for high value phrases and variants. We conducted thorough keyword research to understand commercial and purchasing keywords for Net Curtains and implement them across the site.

By adding small, contextual paragraphs to product categories, utilising product filters and optimising other categories on the site, we implemented the target keywords and variants. We also added brand pages to help boost authority, highlighting that the shop supplied reputable products and provided another way for customers to find what they are looking for.
