Francis Wilks & Jones is a London firm of specialist solicitors providing legal advice to a range of clients across the UK.

One of the main aims for their new website was a visual refresh in-line with their new branding. An upgrade from their previous, limited CMS was also required for the ability to have full control over their content. In addition to the aesthetic revamp, their UX was looking for improvement too; the user journey needed refinement and clarity. Also, post-launch, Francis Wilks & Jones were interested in an ongoing SEO campaign to increase enquiries for highly specific areas of law and to grow its organic traffic.

Based on analysis, we stripped out redundant and bringing down the site’s quality scores, performing poorly and not matching the commercial intent enough. From this, we redesigned and built a new site including mega menus which aided the user journey, directing them towards what they’re looking for. So much so, there has been a 330% increase in clicks year-on-year, going from 2.53K to 10.9K. Our SEO campaign saw on-site optimisation with longtail keyword implementation and we increased their backlink profile and citations for both local and national reach visibility. Top 3 rankings have seen a 317% increase, from 23 to 96 top 3 rankings, and impressions have seen significant growth too, a 288% increase from 140K to 544K.
