Looking for an SEO campaign as a relatively new business, Training for Life wanted to gain local recognition as well as recognition within their niche. Mental health training was a new area when they started, so it was vital they started ranking for it quickly before any new competitors did. Focusing on their website, they required a more flexible CMS in order to post more content and add more information to their site which aided both user ability but also would be helpful for SEO too.
We rebuilt their website in WordPress which immediately improved this. By writing additional and optimised content, we earned Training for Life some high quality links; our link building work has led to a great mix of national rankings and local map listings. Additionally, we have also gone on to earning press coverage for them on the local radio station, BBC Suffolk. Training for Life now outranks Red Cross, the Government, and the NHS. One thing that has been essential for the campaign is jumping on trends early, for example their “Suicide Prevention Training” service. As a completely new service – for the world – we published on the site immediately and it’s now one of the most popular pages. There has been a 20% increase in page views in the last 6 months and an extraordinary 40% increase of website users in the last 3 months.
